Shelly Tsang
I am a postdoctoral researcher at UCLA Anderson School of Management in the Behavioral Decision Making area.
My research examines how people make judgments and decisions under resource constraints, and how environmental factors influence these processes. My work explores questions such as:
How do individuals decide when to explore (try something new) and when to exploit (stick with what they know)?
What do people perceive as a good use of time or a waste of their time?
When do individuals value their time over their money, and vice versa?
Before UCLA, I received my Ph.D. in social psychology at the University of Virginia and my B.A in psychology and economics at Cornell University.
